King Street Townhouse located within the upper King Street conservation area of Manchester city centre is an impressive Italian renaissance building, designed by local architect Edward Salomons and originally built in 1872 for the Manchester Salford Trustees Bank. Our intention was to respectfully expand on the allure and unique qualities of this historic building with our baby grand hotel providing the need for new contemporary accommodation in the area.

Opened December 2015

King Street Townhouse is situated in Manchester, 5 minutes' walk from Manchester Town Hall. Guests can enjoy a meal at the restaurant or a drink at the bar. On the rooftop of the hotel there is a heated, infinity spa pool as well as a relaxation room and steam room.

All rooms contain a contemporary design with a flat-screen TV, free WiFi and tea and coffee making facilities. The rooms come with en-suite facilities and walk-in rain showers, bathrobes and free toiletries. Some rooms also have seating areas where guests can relax.

The hotel is housed in a large Italian renaissance building, and has been updated to a modern standard while maintaining its historic features. Guests are invited to dine at the hotel’s Tavern Restaurant and Bar, which serves a seasonal menu and classic dishes, or relax in the lounge with an afternoon tea.

King Street Townhouse also offers guests a conference and event space for celebrations and business-related events.
